This guidance is aimed at Heads of School, Directors of Student Education and Directors of Research & Innovation.

It gives information about the differences between the Annual Academic Meeting (AAM) discussions and Staff Review and Development Scheme (SRDS) discussions, as well as describing how the processes link together.

There are two template forms which Schools may wish to adopt for AAMs.  The pre-meeting form can, in parts, be automatically populated from the IRIS system. To do this, the individual academic will need to log in to their own records on IRIS and generate the form from there.
