Professorial and senior staff salary review

The process normally begins in the Spring when the Head of Rewards, Chris Mooney, will contact you by email to invite you to apply.

The Professorial and Senior Staff Salary Review Committee then meets in June, and any awards/promotions, agreed by the Committee, are applied from 1 August.

Status as of 11 March 2022: All eligible Professors and grade 10 employees should have received an email inviting them to apply for a salary review or promotion.  The deadline for applications is 29 April 2022.  If you have not received an invitation email or if you have any questions about the process, please contact your Faculty/Service HR Manager in the first instance or the Reward team at reward@leeds.ac.uk

Clinical Professors

If you're a clinical professor, you'll be paid in line with nationally agreed, published NHS pay scales and, in addition, you're able to apply for Clinical Excellence Awards which recognise contribution (including academic contribution). You are therefore not eligible to apply through this process.
