Your P60 and what it means

Your P60 is issued by Payroll by 31 May each year, and is the summary of your taxable pay and the tax that's been deducted from it in the tax year.

When will I receive my P60?

Your P60 will be available via Employee Self-Service Portal no later than 31 May following the end of the tax year (5 April), however should you need the information earlier please use the taxable pay to date and tax to date figures from your March payslip.  Please also note that the figures quoted are taxable pay so this may not equal your annual salary if you have deductions taken as salary sacrifice i.e. pension deductions, childcare vouchers. Further information relating to Employee Self-Service is available: University of Leeds Human Resources Homepage

If you're on a career break, or maternity, paternity or adoption leave, a paper copy will be sent to your home address.

If you left the University before 6 April you will have been provided with a summary of your pay and tax deducted during the relevant tax year up to your leaving date in your P45 and you will not receive a P60.
