Death in service

Colleagues who worked closely with the deceased will be affected and it is imperative that the University’s response is appropriate, effective, and sensitive to the needs of individuals. Such events are, thankfully, rare and it is important that you feel supported and are clear about the actions that you need to take as Head of your School/Service.

This guidance includes:

  • Reporting requirements.
