Pay protection

This policy outlines the reasons you would be considered for pay protection and how long you will receive pay protection.

  • If you are in a restructure and it is decided that your job should be at a lower grade, you may be considered for pay protection.
  • If you are in a restructure and you have had to take a job at a lower grade than your current job, you may be considered for pay protection.
  • You can only have pay protection for three years, but it can be extended for an extra year in some circumstances.
