Our reward and recognition policy tells you what your manager can recommend you're awarded, for contribution over and above what's normally expected of you.
- The policy applies to all University employees on grades 2 to 9, as well as clinical academic staff who are below consultant level (with the exception of clinical academic doctors and dentists in training who are not eligible for ASIs and DIs).
- There are two sections: Reward, which is an annual process relating to salary increments for consistent and sustained performance above what's expected of you within your role; and Recognition, which is an ongoing scheme where your manager can recommend awards for instances of excellent performance.
- If you think you should receive an award through either the Reward or Recognition scheme, you can speak to your manager or your HR Manager.
