Time off for carers and domestic reasons
This policy explains how much time off you are given if you care for someone else and there is a problem in your care plans.
- If you care for someone else and there is a problem with your care plans, you can ask your Head of School/Service if you can take leave.
- You can take up to five days paid leave a year (based on the hours you work).
- However, if you need more than five days leave, you can ask your Head of School/Service if you can take unpaid leave.
