This policy gives information about our staff review and development scheme (SRDS). It explains the purpose of a personal development plan and tells you how it can be used to help with your ongoing development.
- You will have a staff review each year which will look at your contribution over the past 12 months and your objectives for the next 12 months.
- Your staff review is kept confidential (except as required by law) and only you, your reviewer and the Head of School/Service will see the paperwork
- Writing a personal development plan (PDP) will help you and your manager to decide the learning and development you need to help you achieve your future objectives.
- If you want to discuss learning and development with your manager you shouldnt wait until your next review meeting to do so.
