There are many HR activities going on around the University which we'd like to tell you about, and ask for your views on. We've included some of these below, with links so you can let us know what you think about what we're proposing to do, and we'll try to update the sections regularly.
Reward and recognition
We've been look at how we reward staff for excellent contribution and going the extra mile above and beyond the normal expectations of a role and, with feedback from you and our trade union colleagues, weve decided to split this into two: Reward and Recognition.
The Reward scheme is now up and running on an annual basis, and deals with salary increases to recognise people and teams going above and beyond on an ongoing basis.
The Recognition scheme will, were hoping, be launched this spring. Therell be a portal where you can recommend vouchers for colleagues and this will be available all year round.

The HR website
Unfortunately other projects have taken precedence over our review of the HR website which has meant that weve had to put this on the back burner. We're not currently in a position to give it the attention it deserves, so have taken the decision to postpone any changes until were able to commit resources. Any feedback provided wont go to waste and will be reviewed again when we're able. In the meantime, if you'd have any comments or thoughts on the HR website, please let us know by emailing us.
