University Academic Fellow (UAF) support

Our first University Academic Fellows (UAFs) joined us in 2015 and, since then, we’ve recruited over 150 UAFs with hopefully another 20 individuals joining us in 2019. On this page you’ll find useful information to help you manage your development as a UAF and help you prepare for promotion to Associate Professor at the end of your Fellowship.

Expectations during your Fellowship

At the bottom of this page you'll find links to download the UAF Expectation of achievement documents, these provide details of what is expected from you at the 3 and 5 year points of your Fellowship.

Year 3 Probation Report

You can also download the UAF Probationary Report Form which will help you to provide a commentary on how you are progressing in relation to the Year 3 probation expectations, for your review at the end of your third year.

Year 5 Probation Report

You can also download the UAF Year 5 Probation Form and Guidance which will help you to provide a commentary on how you have met your year 4 and 5 probationary expectations. This will be used to determine whether you have met the necessary criteria to complete your UAF probation and be promoted to Associate Professor.
