Case study 3 - possible approach to stage 1

One possible approach is:

  • Discuss with Dr Spark the effect of his behaviour.
  • Try and determine why he behaves like this.
  • Explain that different behaviour may result in more positive outputs in the group.
  • Explain that whatever the reasons the behaviour is not acceptable and must improve.
  • Put meeting summaries in writing.
