Reward and recognition policy

Our pay and reward policy tells you what your manager can recommend you're awarded for contribution over and above what's normally expected of you.

  • The policy applies to all University employees on grades 2 to 9, and to clinical academic staff who aren't on the clinical academic consultant pay scale.
  • There are two sections: Reward, which is an annual process relating to salary increments for consistent and sustained performance above what's expected of you within your role; and Recognition, which is an ongoing scheme where your manager can recommend awards for instances of excellent performance.
  • If you think you should receive an award through either the Reward or Recognition scheme, you can speak to your manager or your HR Manager.
